In the spring of 2015 I was feeling a little burnout at my day job and just happened to come across a book called the Four Hour Workweek.
Well who wouldn’t want that, right? It really inspired me and after reading it twice back to back it inspired me to take some action.
It talks a lot about creating passive income streams and after doing a lot of research I decided to start a blog as it required the least amount of money to launch and I didn’t have to rely on anyone else to run it.
I came across an awesome training website called Wealthy Affiliate.I signed up for a free trial but quickly realized the value and after a couple months I went from knowing nothing about blogging to having a real live website with visitors and even a few sales!
Now, I am committed to my day job as it is a family business but I thought it would be nice to have some extra income so I wasn’t forced to work so much.
I chose to write about shaving products and accessories because I developed a fascination in my mid-20’s.
My beard was almost non-existent until then. I was always scared to grow it out because I felt like I would look like a 14 year old in puberty.
However, a couple years ago I just did it and my wife happened to fall in love with my goatee. In fact, one day after I had worn it for a couple months I just decided to shave it off.
It looked weird! I never thought it looked weird before when I stayed clean shaven but for some reason after having facial hair for a couple months I guess I just got used to it.
My wife was not happy and she made it well known that I need to grow it back right away.
Well, my hair didn’t grow that fast but it did grow back faster and a little thicker than before.
From then I realized I needed multiple tools to maintain the desired look I wanted. So, after doing some research I realized there were so many different types of razors and ways to remove unwanted facial hair.
I then started collecting a few different razors and when it came time to decide on a topic for my website it literally fell in my lap.
I enjoy doing research and learning about new products as well as testing them out on my own beard!
