Braun is killing it again with another popular Series 7 razor on Amazon! This review of the Braun Series 7 760cc electric foil shaver for men is going to let you know the ins and outs of this razor.
If you like the Series 7 740S-6, for about $10 more you can get all the same great features as well as the Clean & Charge station.
Like the other Series 7 models, this razor has three superior features that gives you a more efficient shave.
These three elements combine to give you an effective shave. The Intelligent Sonic Technology automatically detects the thickness of your stubble while adjust the power of the motor accordingly. The active lift trimmer helps pull up stubborn hairs that just want to lie flat. While the optifoil allows the shaver to get your hair down as low as .05 mm, half the thickness of your average hair.
These technologies seem to be the trademark of all of the series 7 razors. You will really notice the difference at this price level vs. those less than $100. You know the saying…” you get what you pay for..”

This all happens with the touch of one button! If you like these features there may be only one downside, the refill cartridges. Depending on the frequency of use you will have to change these out a couple times a year. They recommend every three months but they are only about $5-6 per cartridge.
This truly is an intelligent shaver. It also allows you to choose up to 5 different speeds to choose from give you many options to customize your shave.
You will also need to change to the heads every 18 months or so which can also be found on amazon.
There really is not much of a difference between these two shavers. The only differences come down to appearance. The 760 is black while the 790 has a nicer silver finish.
The 790 also has a LCD instead of an LED display for the battery status. This won’t matter at all so unless you are looking to splurge the 760 will be just fine.
Finally, the 790 has a faster clean cycle which also won’t matter unless you are sharing this shaver with someone else. You know the clean cycle won’t last until your next shave so there is no reason to spend more money for this.
Most people love this razor for its reliably close shave as well as the lack of irritation it causes. Many of the upset customers are those with too high expectations for an electric shaver or happened to get a defective product.
