Summary
In our Braun 9093S Review, you will see why many guys prefer this razor over the more expensive 9095CC. It has many great features with just a few flaws.
In our Braun 9093S Review, we will get into all of the nitty gritty details of this shaver.
As I expand my knowledge and interest with shaving products, and with my sights aiming in the right direction, I came across this futuristic design and technology of Braun Series 9.
Gillette and Braun are now owned by Procter & Gamble, which is, as we all know, one of the most famous consumer goods company in the world today.
Since Braun specialized in creating the perfect shaving products, they previously launched a series of razors starting off from Series 1, up to the latest series 9 models.
Those products are fantastic and always meets the expectations of the consumers. But of course, there should be and there will definitely be improvements and modifications along the way.
Being able to keep the machine charged, lubricated, and sterile for everlasting use is one of its main selling points.
Introducing the Braun 9093S, the most advanced shaver ever built with SyncroSonic technology.
It is one of Braun’s first shaver models with four specialized cutting elements such as:
The Hyperlift & Cut trimmer’s purpose is to lift and cut flat lying hairs that are growing in the problem areas like your neck and chin.
The Direct & Cut trimmer aligns and cuts hair growing in different directions.
Finally, the unique OptiFoils captures stubborn hair and giving you the perfect finish. The synergy of four perfectly synchronized cutting elements, amplified by sonic technology, delivers 40,000 cross-cutting actions per minute to capture different types of hair.
Sounds a little bit technical, but what does it mean? Technically, the Braun 9093S Series 9 shaver is the most advanced razor on the market as of today.
It will give you the perfect clean look that you’re looking for, without leaving any trace of left-over hairs from shaving.
Looking at the box, and reading the manual, you would expect the cradle to come with it, but it does come with a semi-hard case.
Just don’t lose the power cord since you can’t add it in the case. If it ends up in that box with the other cords you can’t remember what they fit, it’s pretty easy to tell which connector is for the 9093s.
The W&D means that it can be used for Wet & Dry, meaning that that particular shaver can be used in the shower with shaving cream or at the sink with shaving cream.
If it does not contain the W&D, Braun does not recommend you use it wet or with shaving cream at the shower.
The CC stands for Clean & Charge and it comes with cleaning base. Each shaver can be washed over the sink as they are all water resistant.
The 9093 shaving head has the Titanium Nitride coated trimmer, it has a golden-metallic color.
The Titanium Nitride coating is often used for its anti-corrosive and edge retention properties, so it makes perfect sense to be used on the cutting elements of an electric shaver.
It has flexible cutting elements mounted on a fully pivoting head. The MicroMotion combined with MacroMotion allows the shaver to maintain more skin contact for maximum facial adaptability and the most thorough results.
It is the same shaver as the 9095 but without being tethered to a cord nor dealing with a bulky cleaner that takes up too much room on your little bathroom counter.
Plus, it’s at least $50 cheaper. The 9093 runs a bit quieter and cuts with more blades than the 9095.
The shave feels smoother on the skin, cuts a bit closer and does an overall better job.
Braun currently does not offer an add-on cleaning station for the 9093.

The shave feels smoother on the skin, cuts a bit closer and does an overall better job. This shaver still does a great job and has the cleaning station that the 9093 does not have.
Braun currently does not offer an add-on cleaning station for the 9093. Be sure to check out the many reviews for yourself.
All in all, the 9093 is a great electric razor along with all of the series 9 models. It definitely does the job and provides you with clean and precise cut.
If you don’t need the clean and charge station this razor could be worth the price over the 9095.
Overall, most guys should be satisfied with his razor.
