I recently received an email from the COO of Mavericks, after coming across one of my posts they asked if I would mind checking out their shaving cream. So, here is our Mavericks Shave Cream review!

Mavericks Shave Cream Review Description

This shave cream is definitely not the cheapest out their, however, you get what you pay for.

You can tell right away by the packaging that it feels like a higher-end product.

It comes in a sleek, black box that is clean and modern looking.

When you open it and pull the tube of shaving cream out it comes in a transparent tube with very simple branding on the outside.

This gives it a high-quality look.

When I first opened the cap, the first thing I noticed was the refreshing minty smell.

After looking at over the ingredient’s peppermint oil was near the top and definitely comes out as the strongest note.

However, it is not overbearing and is more refreshing than anything.

Instructions say to simply wet your face with warm water and apply a thin layer of the cream to activate the slickness.

Like the Cremo shave cream, this is not going to create your traditional foam.

It just creates a slick layer of the cream between your blade and your skin. As you introduce more water from rinsing your razor, it gets even slicker.

Other Notes

On my first shave, I used about a dime-sized amount on my hand, however, on the next time I’ll probably up that to a nickel.

Considering how little you need to use for each shave, even though it is a 4-ounce tube, it will probably still last almost 2 months.

When I first applied it to my skin it felt very refreshing and you could feel the slickness coming out as I worked it in with the water.

As I begin shaving, I ran into no issues whatsoever with any kind of irritation. I was even able to reactivate enough cream after I did my first pass for a second pass with just a little more water.

After my shave, I rinsed with cold water and dried off with a towel.

A few minutes later, I noticed my skin feeling like I had put an aftershave on with the refreshing mintiness coming out.

So, after doing some more research on their website, I saw that this shaving cream is actually a three-in-one shaving cream.

Besides the shaving cream properties, it is also a moisturizer and aftershave.

This was a pleasant surprise and I am looking forward to my next shave with it.

The Mavericks shave cream comes highly rated not only on its own website, but on Amazon as well. After testing it first-hand, it is easy to see why.

Many other reviewers agree that this gives a high-quality shave with reduced skin irritation.

The main complaints are about the price, but as we said, you get what you pay for.

If you are looking for a cheap shaving cream then this is definitely not for you. However, if you are looking for a better shave and you don’t mind paying for it, this is definitely a shaving cream you should check out.

There are other reviewers that agree with me and that since you do not have to use that much the shaving cream will still last a long time and is relatively inexpensive.

There were a few other comments about how it is a non-foaming shaving cream. Some people just can’t get past that but this cream is not meant to work that way. However, it still works very effectively at reducing irritation and providing the needed lubricant for your shave.

Conclusion

If you have sensitive skin and are used to fighting with razor burn, you probably won’t mind paying for this shaving cream.

This all natural, vegan shaving cream works as advertised and is definitely a step up from your mass-marketed creams.
