Description of Latherwhip Badger Hair Shaving Brush

At the time of this writing the Latherwhip Badger Hair Shaving brush is on sale at Amazon for almost 60% off. Talk about a deal! This would be great for yourself or a special gift for someone.

This brush receives a lot of love from its fans on Amazon with a high 4.5 rating with over 275 reviews! Latherwhip put a lot of thought into the design of this brush. They went outside the box from what you normally find.

First, they strategically used a 22mm knot. This was designed to help you be more effective when applying your shaving soap or cream. Larger knots can sometimes be lather hogs, in that they don’t transfer the lather to your face easily because they are larger and can absorb more water.

However, smaller knots around 20mm are known to be stiffer and won’t hang onto so much lather which will allow you to be more precise with your application.

The 22mm knot that Latherwhip provides will also provide a nice balance of stiffness and softness which will help exfoliate your skin. Latherwhip admits this brush will not feel as others that are made with silvertip badger hair but they intentionally wanted a little stiffness for this reason.

The extra firmness helps you create a richer lather quicker than other softer brushes which will save you time in the morning.

They also put time and effort in developing their resin handle which they claim will resist bumps and scrapes. This is good to know because some other brushes have been known to have the knot fall off the handle when it is dropped. This brush will have a little more durability.

Those of you who are true wet shaving fans will appreciate the quality and value of this brush.  Even though it is made in China it is still a high-quality brush.  The 22mm knot and the grade of badger hair used provides the perfect balance to the backbone of the brush between softness and toughness.

Latherwhip is also known for its superb customer service so if you have any issues whatsoever you know they stand behind their product. As you can see in the reviews on Amazon, AJ responds to almost all the questions asked and to many of the reviews as well.

Whether this is your first brush or you just need a replacement, this brush provides a great value.  For under $30 you are going to get a quality brush that will last for years to come and that is going to do its job well.

If you’re still in doubt check out the reviews for yourself.  As with all the other brushes we have reviewed, there are usually a handful of people that may have received a bad brush that sheds a little more than it should.  We have yet to find a brush without these kinds of reviews though and they are few and far between.
If you are lucky enough to have this issue Latherwhip would be sure to correct the issue for you.
